Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Krasilin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Melanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Melanko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Krasilin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay Melanko! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Krasilin. Melanko is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Krasilin is controlling him well. Krasilin stands up and we're back to a striking position. Melanko ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Krasilin clinches up against the cage. Melanko is looking to break free of the clinch but Krasilin has double underhooks. Krasilin turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Krasilin has knee on belly and moves into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krasilin goes for an armbar but Melanko turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Melanko.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krasilin looking to control but Melanko passes into half guard.
Melanko in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Krasilin tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Melanko!
