The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vegata will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Amade loads up on a big right hand but Vegata slips the punch.
Amade throws an overhand right that lands on Vegata's shoulder, as Vegata tries to avoid the shot.
A cross from Amade lands.
Vegata shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Vegata controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Amade wants to stand up but Vegata is controlling him.
Amade keeping full guard, as Vegata tries to pass.

Vegata trying to control but Amade is working from the bottom.

Vegata forces his way into half guard.
Vegata stalling.
Vegata stops Amade from getting back to his feet.

Vegata stalling away here and it's allowed Amade to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Vegata looking to sit in guard and control but Amade gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Vegata wants to sweep here but Amade controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Antonio Vegata was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Vegata moves out of range of the body kick.
Amade throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vegata.
It looks like Antonio Vegata has been cut.
Vegata throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Amade lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Amade throws a nice inside leg kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Vegata.

Amade is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amade wants to get back to his feet.
You can see the frustration on Amade's face as Vegata controls the position.
Amade is pushing Vegata's head away, looking to escape. Vegata manages to hold on to the position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vegata wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amade keeps working.
Vegata is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Amade is trying to escape and Vegata transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Amade is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vegata! Very nice indeed!
