Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Shields is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Super Hans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Shields! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hans tries for a takedown but Shields sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hans has closed the distance and engaged Shields in a clinch.
Hans drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shields gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hans tries to throw a body punch but Shields avoids it by throwing Hans back against the cage. Come on Hans - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hans misses with the head strike.
Shields has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hans regains guard immediately. Hans looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shields wanted to stand there but Hans had control of the position. Hans wants to sweep but no luck. Shields trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hans working for a triangle but Shields defends it easily.
Shields stands up from guard. Let's bang! Shields drives through and clinches with Hans against the cage.
Hans lands a hook to the side of the head. Hans misses with a punch to the body.
Hans lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Shields taking a breather. A right handed body shot lands from Hans.
Hans dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Shields ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shields no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Shields working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shields tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hans pushing down on Shields's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hans is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shields gets back to full guard.
Hans postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Shields is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hans, into his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hans looking for a guillotine here but Shields defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shields postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hans can't keep his opponent in guard - Shields advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Shields in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hans tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Shields!
