Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Saplin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saplin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hall napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Saplin tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hall's legs.
Hall gets back to half guard.
Saplin working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Hall's thigh. Hall counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Saplin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saplin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Saplin wants to get up but he can't break Hall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Saplin throws and elbow that misses. Hall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Saplin's guard. Nice move by Hall!
Hall wants to pass the guard but Saplin is keeping the position.

Hall postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Saplin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hall, into his guard.

Saplin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hall to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hall shrugs it off.

Saplin has hold of Hall's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hall manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Saplin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hall has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Saplin trying to control but Hall is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Saplin wants to finish this one by submission but Hall is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Saplin.
