The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAndrewson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drake moves away.
Drake shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Drake wants to control the pace but McAndrewson is squirming around nicely.
Drake avoids the attempt from McAndrewson to control.
Drake working for a submission but McAndrewson is keeping him at bay.
Drake throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Drake throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for McAndrewson because Drake loaded up on that one.
McAndrewson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Drake tries to control but McAndrewson wriggling away.
Drake misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Drake has control of McAndrewson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McAndrewson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
McAndrewson is squirming around, avoiding Drake's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McAndrewson wants to hold on but Drake pushes him away.

Drake stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
McAndrewson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Drake to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Drake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Drake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. McAndrewson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Drake! Submission of the night perhaps?
