The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hammer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hammer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Silvas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hammer.
Silvas fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hammer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silvas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silvas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hammer looks for the body kick but Silvas saw that one coming.
Hammer lands a nice shot to the body.
Silvas avoids the head kick by Hammer.
Hammer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Black Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer lands a leg kick that knocks Silvas off balance momentarily.

Hammer moves out of range of the body kick from Silvas.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Silvas enables Hammer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silvas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silvas has hold of Hammer's hands but Hammer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Hammer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silvas!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hammer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hammer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silvas looks a forlorn figure.

Hammer postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Silvas bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hammer and the fight is over!
