Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ecif Irhcaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irhcaz has chosen Reptile Theme by Skrillex as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Sherk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ecif Irhcaz!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irhcaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sherk takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Irhcaz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Irhcaz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Irhcaz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Irhcaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sherk fails to land the takedown.
Irhcaz misses the body punch
and Sherk counters with a stiff right hand.

Irhcaz tries a body shot but Sherk blocks it.
Sherk has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Irhcaz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Sherk is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Irhcaz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Sherk is trying to stick to Irhcaz's back but Irhcaz is turning into Sherk. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sherk's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Irhcaz.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sherk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Irhcaz's guard.
Irhcaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sherk is one step ahead there.
Sherk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Irhcaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Irhcaz is trying to control the position but Sherk postures up.
Irhcaz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Irhcaz is looking for a kimura but Sherk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Irhcaz to get the leverage.
Irhcaz thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sherk to regain full guard.
Sherk pushes Irhcaz off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Irhcaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Irhcaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sherk swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Irhcaz scores with a kick to the body.
Irhcaz misses the shot to the body.

Sherk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Irhcaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sherk blocks the body kick.
Sherk moves into range and connects with a jab.
Irhcaz throws a front kick aimed at Sherk's knee but Sherk avoids it well.
Sherk dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Irhcaz throws a lazy right hand but Sherk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Irhcaz gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sherk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Irhcaz manages to avoid it.
Sherk shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sherk showed some decent athleticism there.
Sherk throws a strike but Irhcaz avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sherk is in close to Irhcaz's body, working some short punches and elbows.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sherk lands a decent elbow from side control.

Irhcaz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sherk ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Irhcaz tries to clinch there but Sherk circles away.
Irhcaz moves in looking to clinch but Sherk pushes him off.
Sherk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Irhcaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sherk somewhat.
Sherk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Irhcaz throws out the jab.

Irhcaz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sherk is working for takedown but Irhcaz is calmly controlling the position for now.

Ecif Irhcaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Sherk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Irhcaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sherk has managed to get both his arms back between Irhcaz's legs - danger averted.
Sherk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Irhcaz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Ecif Irhcaz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
