The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineda lets loose with a powerful body kick. Killer will feel that in the morning.
Pineda takes one on the button.

It looks like Sigfredo Pineda has been cut.
Pineda cracks Killer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Mc Killer has been cut.
Pineda takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Pineda knocks Killer to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Pineda thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killer wants to get back to his feet.
Killer is looking to regain half guard here but Pineda keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Pineda stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Killer moves out of range as Pineda throws a body kick.
A low kick from Pineda is predictable there
and Killer counters with a stiff right hand.
Pineda fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sigfredo Pineda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killer misses with a hook. Pineda ducked under it nicely.
Pineda sizes up Killer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Killer is rocked!
Pineda closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Killer out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
