Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Moss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Ruger! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ruger misses with a few strikes there.
Ruger misses with a straight left. Moss sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ruger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ruger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Moss tries to clinch there but Ruger circles away.
A punch combination from Ruger misses. Ruger thuds a left hand into Moss's body. Moss tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ruger swats him away and circles back towards the center. Moss throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ruger looks for a takedown but Moss sprawls well. Moss slips a jab and a cross from Ruger.
Moss looks to land a combination but Ruger avoids it well. Moss wants to clinch up but Ruger keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moss is fending him off so far but Ruger persists. Nope, Moss circles away and we're back to standing. Ruger throws a combination that misses and Moss counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ruger! Moss is breathing heavily. Ruger throwing hammer fists to the chest of Moss. What's that going to do exactly? Ruger is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ruger is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Moss locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Ruger is forced to tap!
