Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Byron Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Buu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Buu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Byron Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Buu! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buu slaps away a takedown attempt from Peters, before circling back to the center of the mat. Buu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Buu drives through and clinches with Peters against the cage.
Buu misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Buu manages to break the clinch.
Buu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peters. Buu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Peters quickly recovers to half guard. Peters is trying to maintain the position but Buu is very close to passing his half guard. Peters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Peters pushes Buu off and gets back to his feet. Buu gets caught napping as Peters dives in and scores a takedown. Buu manages to retain guard. Buu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Peters is aware though and is defending well. Peters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Peters wants to stand but Buu is controlling his posture from full guard. Peters wants to control from the top but Buu keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buu avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Peters is looking to work some ground and pound but Buu has wrist control. Buu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Buu can do anything to dispel that myth. Peters throws a big right hand that misses. Buu keeping moving, preventing Peters from controlling successfully. Buu wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Buu, up you get! Peters throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Buu tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Peters is in Buu's guard. Buu looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Peters throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Peters stopping the sweep attempt from Buu. Peters keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Buu's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buu wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Peters scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Peters wants to control from the top but Buu keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peters is working Buu over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Peters tries to free his leg and advance position but Buu is retaining full guard. Buu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peters wants to pass the guard but Buu is keeping the position. Buu keeping moving, preventing Peters from controlling successfully. Buu pulls Peters in close to prevent any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Peters looks for a takedown but Buu sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Byron Peters dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Buu scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Peters keeping hold of Buu's head, controlling as best he can. Peters kicks Buu off and gets back to his feet. No luck for Peters with that takedown attempt. Sloppy strikes from Peters. Those never looked like landing. Peters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buu swats him away and circles back towards the center. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Peters changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters trying to control the action but Buu is working from the bottom. Buu manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Peters manages to get to full guard.
Buu is stalling in the full guard. Let's hope that Buu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Buu content to stall in guard here. Peters not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. King Buu wasn't active enough on the ground. Buu looks to land a right hand but Peters moved out of range. Buu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peters. Buu dives in and scores a takedown into Peters's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Buu is controlling him. Peters is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Buu defends well. Buu looking to pass the guard. Peters is looking to sinch up a triangle. Buu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Peters's body to avoid the submission. Peters has instead reached around Buu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Peters arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Byron Peters!
