Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rob Roy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Victor Stevens! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Victor Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Stevens tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Roy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stevens will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stevens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stevens somewhat. Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch. Stevens shoots in and bounces Roy off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Roy keeping full guard, as Stevens tries to pass. Stevens not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens stands and throws Roy's legs to the side, diving into side control. Roy is trying to improve his position. Stevens stands up. Stevens delivers a nice body kick. Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Stevens shoots in but no luck this time. Rob Roy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Stevens. Stevens moves in looking to clinch but Roy pushes him off. Roy swats away the attempt to clinch by Stevens. Stevens wants to clinch. Roy misses with a series of wild punches.

Stevens keeping moving, preventing Roy from controlling successfully. Stevens wants to sweep here but Roy controlling him for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stevens is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Roy wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Stevens dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No luck for Stevens with that takedown attempt. Stevens fails with the takedown and Roy counters with a nice uppercut. Stevens closes the distance looking to clinch and Roy counters with a straight right hand. Horrible takedown by Stevens or perhaps it was just good defense by Roy which made him look bad. Stevens tries to clinch but Roy is having none of it. Stevens tries for a takedown but Roy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stevens lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Roy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stevens moves into the clinch.

Stevens drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Roy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stevens is looking to control Roy's arms but Roy gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stevens has his back to the ropes. Roy lands a nice uppercut. Stevens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stevens closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Stevens gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Roy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Stevens lands an elbow just above Roy 's eye. Stevens is trying to drag Roy to the mat but Roy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Stevens lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Stevens shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roy pinned against the ropes. Roy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stevens closes the distance but Roy moves to the side enabling Roy to counter with a crisp jab. Roy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Roy wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stevens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roy as he avoids it easily. Rob Roy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! Stevens tries to clinch but Roy moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Stevens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Stevens looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stevens pushes Roy up against the ropes in a clinch. Roy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Roy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stevens breaks the clinch.

Stevens pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Roy back to the ropes. Stevens follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Rob Roy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roy keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stevens shoots in looking for a takedown but Roy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stevens's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Victor Stevens comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stevens has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
