The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sucharski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Slessor gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Slessor not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sucharski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slessor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slessor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Slessor thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sucharski's head.
Sucharski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Slessor.

Slessor creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sucharski parries the strikes from Slessor easily there. Slessor is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sucharski to escape.

Slessor lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Sucharski! Slessor sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Sucharski and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
