Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bible Basher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bible Basher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Diaz! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Basher. Basher circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Diaz swinging wilding here.
Basher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Basher prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. Diaz taking shots to the head. Basher wants to finish this one by submission but Diaz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Basher. Diaz tries to lock up and control but Basher gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Diaz is desperately trying to improve his position but Basher has a good base and remains in mount. Basher stands up from mount. Strange move. Basher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Basher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Basher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Basher working for a guillotine from mount but Diaz is in no mood to give up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Diaz is looking to improve his position but Basher isn't that keen on the idea. Basher tries to control but Diaz wriggling away. Basher prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. Basher goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Diaz turns into him and now he's in Basher's guard.
Basher is breathing heavily. Diaz wants to control from the top but Basher keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Diaz works over Basher with some ground and pound from guard. Diaz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Basher wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz stands up over Basher, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Basher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Basher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. Diaz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Diaz moves nicely into side control. Basher is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz tries to stand but Basher is controlling his head. Diaz looks up at the clock and then as Basher takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Diaz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Diaz landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Basher tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Diaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Basher knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Basher tries to improve position but can't. Diaz works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Basher throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Basher showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diaz.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Basher pushes Diaz up against the cage in a clinch. Basher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Basher pulls guard successfully.
Basher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diaz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Basher has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Diaz off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Basher drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Basher with a flurry of punches that miss. Basher has gone for a leg lock! Diaz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Basher's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Diaz wants to control from the top but Basher keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bible Basher will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Basher gets a clinch. Basher has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Diaz is trying to keep an underhook but Basher manages to get the takedown into half guard. Diaz trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Basher manages to pass to mount!
Diaz tries to hold on but Basher postures up. Diaz blocking the ground and pound. Diaz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Basher tries to control but Diaz wriggling away. Basher has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Diaz's face.
Diaz manages to regain half guard. Good work. Diaz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Basher wants to pass the guard but Diaz is keeping the position. Bible Basher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Basher wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Diaz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Basher is pressing down on Diaz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Diaz is looking to stand up but Basher won't let him. Diaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Basher is retaining full guard. Basher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diaz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Basher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Diaz manages to get himself to full guard.
Diaz lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Basher is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Diaz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Diaz has escaped and now he's on top! Basher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Basher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Basher tries to get out of the position. Basher wants to control but Diaz postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Basher is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Diaz off and has taken his back! Diaz defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Bible Basher dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Basher. Basher closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard. Basher stands up from Diaz's guard - Basher perhaps looking for a knockout. Diaz misses with a series of wild punches.
Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Basher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Basher decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Basher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diaz sprawls well initially but Basher persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Basher is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Basher is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Diaz is refusing to be controlled, as Basher sits in half guard. Basher is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Diaz defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Basher tries to pass the half guard into mount. Diaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Basher wants to take a breather but Diaz is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Basher trying to pass the guard but Diaz defending well. Diaz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Diaz is on top in guard.
Basher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Diaz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Diaz tries to stand but Basher is controlling from the bottom. Basher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diaz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diaz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diaz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Basher looking for a sweep. Not yet Basher, not yet. Diaz stops Basher from standing up. Diaz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Diaz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Basher is keeping the position for now. Diaz trying to control but Basher is working from the bottom. Basher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Basher has control of Diaz's left arm, preventing Diaz from doing any damage. Don Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Diaz tries to lock up and control but Basher gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Basher swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Diaz is now in Basher's guard. A big mistake from Basher there, giving up the dominant position! Diaz with a nice head shot there. Basher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Basher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Basher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Bible Basher showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Basher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
