Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Korobkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Kuyakoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Korobkov comes to the cage accompanied by Hush - Fired Up. Sergei Korobkov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Boy Kuyakoy's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boy Kuyakoy!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korobkov has a takedown stuffed.
Kuyakoy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Korobkov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kuyakoy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Korobkov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kuyakoy, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Kuyakoy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Korobkov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kuyakoy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Korobkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kuyakoy pinned against the cage. Kuyakoy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Korobkov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kuyakoy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Korobkov has Kuyakoy in his guard.

Kuyakoy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sergei Korobkov just wasn't active enough.

Korobkov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kuyakoy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Kuyakoy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sergei Korobkov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kuyakoy wants to sweep here but Korobkov controlling him for the moment.

Kuyakoy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Korobkov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Korobkov closes the distance and clinches up with Kuyakoy, looking for a takedown. Korobkov pushes Kuyakoy against the cage but Kuyakoy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Korobkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kuyakoy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kuyakoy has escaped and now he's on top!

I would just about give that final round to Boy Kuyakoy.
I think Korobkov has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
