Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Hossilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hossilli comes into the arena with It's a Fight blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jerome Townsend enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerome Townsend!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Townsend throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hossilli scores with a nice head shot.
Hossilli lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Townsend backs up against the cage.
It looks like Jerome Townsend has been cut.
Townsend gets a clinch.
Hossilli breaks from the clinch.
Townsend throws a leg kick
enabling Hossilli to counter with a crisp jab.
Hossilli fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Townsend looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Townsend doesn't manage to clinch there - Hossilli circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A bone on bone clash there as Townsend blocks the leg kick.
Townsend darts in trying to clinch
and Hossilli counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Townsend thinking.
Hossilli avoids the head kick by Townsend.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Townsend tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hossilli counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Townsend! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joseph Hossilli!
Joseph Hossilli bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
