Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Delight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles St Something (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delight's entrance music is Bad Reputation . A fine choice. St Something has chosen Fight The Power as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Dutch Delight has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dutch Delight seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dutch Delight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles St Something!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delight scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. St Something doesn't seem bothered though.
St Something tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Delight manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
St Something takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Delight rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but St Something moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Delight takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
St Something dives in and grabs Delight's left leg, looking for a takedown. Delight pushes down on St Something's head and hops out.
St Something has his takedown stuffed
and Delight counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Delight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dutch Delight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
St Something tries to clinch but Delight moves out of range.
Delight keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dutch Delight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles St Something.

St Something takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

St Something gets tackled into the cage by Delight. Delight maintains the clinch.

Delight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Delight pushes St Something up against the cage in a clinch.
St Something is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
St Something tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Delight smiles and moves away.

Delight takes the fight into the clinch.
St Something tries to pull guard but Delight holds him up against the cage and eventually St Something drops back down to his feet.

Delight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Delight tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

St Something gets tackled into the cage by Delight. Delight maintains the clinch.
St Something tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Delight just stands there and leans against the cage.
St Something tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Delight smiles and moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Delight clinches up against the cage.
Delight unloads a knee to the mid-section. St Something lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Delight landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Delight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Delight connects with a leg kick. St Something looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Delight scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Delight clinches with his opponent.
Delight lands an elbow that stopped St Something in his tracks for a moment.

Delight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Delight darts in and clinches St Something up against the cage.

Delight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Delight closes the distance and clinches.

Delight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Delight lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


St Something is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
St Something shoots and misses
and Delight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
St Something is still on wobbly legs! Can Delight finish him?

Delight closes the distance and pushes St Something back into the cage.

Delight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
St Something closes the distance and clinches up with Delight, looking for a takedown. St Something pushes Delight against the cage but Delight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Delight lands a nice hook to St Something's body. St Something takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Delight throws a perfectly timed hook that sends St Something crashing down! St Something tries to stagger back to his feet but Delight just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused St Something asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dutch Delight!
