Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Antonio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). That Guy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guy forces Antonio back against the cage and clinches.

Guy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Guy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Antonio has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guy has managed to get both his arms back between Antonio's legs - danger averted.

Guy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Antonio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Guy, into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that That Guy will probably get the nod.

Antonio stands up out of the half guard.
Antonio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guy's waist but Guy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Antonio off to one side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Antonio is defended easily by Guy.
That Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Antonio.
Guy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Guy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Antonio looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Antonio looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Antonio!

Antonio creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Guy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to That Guy.
Well Guy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
