Fender comes to the cage accompanied by For the love of a princess. William Fender could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dominick Aldo's chin.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fender.
Fender fails with a takedown attempt.

Aldo tries to stall but Fender uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fender scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fender has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Aldo finds it's way round the side to connect with Fender's head.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Aldo enables Fender to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aldo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aldo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fender is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Fender is squirming around, avoiding Aldo's attempts to control the action.
Aldo wants to finish this one by submission but Fender is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Aldo.
Fender knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aldo on the ground.
Fender tries to buck Aldo off but he can't manage it.
Fender is breathing heavily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Aldo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fender is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aldo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fender's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fender really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fender is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Aldo is working for a guillotine from mount but Fender frees his head quite easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Aldo cracks Fender with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dominick Aldo dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fender tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aldo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Aldo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fender is defending well for now.

Aldo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Aldo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Aldo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fender is not content to let Aldo control the position.
Aldo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Aldo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fender!
Aldo lands a big shot there that rocks Fender but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fender squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Aldo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Fender turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Aldo off and cradles Fender's limp body as Aldo celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Dominick Aldo!
