Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rija Zafy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zafy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the Jungle. Steve Nash has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rija Zafy! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zafy lands a slapping body shot.
Zafy catches Nash with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Steve Nash has been cut. Nash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Zafy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Nash.
Nash lands a heavy elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zafy is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Zafy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Nash tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Nash goes for an armbar but Zafy turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Zafy. Nash has his foot on Zafy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zafy works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash is looking for a triangle but Zafy pushes his legs off easily.
Nash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zafy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nash looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash trying to keep a closed guard but Zafy is proving a slippery customer.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Zafy controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rija Zafy. Nash on the wrong end of a nice hook. Zafy lands a two punch combo.
Steve Nash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zafy ducks down and throws a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zafy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Steve Nash's cut is getting worse. Zafy thuds his right hand into Nash's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Zafy lands a lovely overhand right. Zafy sends Nash crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Zafy is motioning to the referee to let Nash up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Nash is rocked!
Steve Nash's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Nash takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nash is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Zafy drops Nash with a straight right hand, right on the button! Zafy follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
