Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Reder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mana Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ACDC - TNT. Dennis Reder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dennis Reder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mana Sato! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato takes the fight into the clinch. Sato can't break the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Reder lands a shoulder strike. Reder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sato tries a head kick but it misses.
Reder tests Sato's chin there with a solid looking shot. Reder drives through with a takedown into Sato's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Reder postures up in Sato's guard and throws a big left but Sato blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sato is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sato is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reder defends well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reder loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sato tries to land a sweep but no joy. Reder throws a strike but Sato rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sato looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sato pushing down on Reder's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Reder is looking for a sweep. Sato is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sato in particular looking to stall. Reder is refusing to be controlled, as Sato sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sato is controlling the pace.
Reder is trying to maintain the position but Sato is very close to passing his half guard. Sato scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sato is trying to control the action in half guard but Reder is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Reder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sato on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mana Sato was stalling too much, according to the referee. Reder has managed to clinch.
Reder scores with a shoulder strike. Sato wants to get back to striking at distance but Reder won't allow it.
Reder can't find room to land a body shot as Sato controls the action.
Reder manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato throws a hook but Reder avoids it easily. Sato tries to clinch but Reder is having none of it. Sato throws an overhand right that lands on Reder's shoulder, as Reder tries to avoid the shot. Reder connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sato. Sato circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Reder lands with a right hand. Reder scores with a nice head shot. Reder lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Reder cracks Sato with a right hand to the side of the head. Sato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sato throws a lazy head kick and Reder counters with a straight right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reder catches Sato with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reder scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Sato throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Reder to counter with a crisp jab. Sato throws a right and a left that Reder avoids nicely. Reder keeps the fight on the outside. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reder, as that shot connected.
Reder ducks under a wild hook from Sato. Sato takes a shot right to the bread basket. Reder is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Reder avoids the body shot from Sato.
A jab from Reder finds it's way through Sato's defenses. Reder keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Sato throws a head kick that misses and Reder counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Reder lands a jab to the head.
Reder swats away the attempt to clinch by Sato.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Sato is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reder sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sato takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sato looks gassed! Sato takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Reder digs a good hook to Sato's body.
Mana Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Reder. Nice shot lands for Reder. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sato takes a shot right to the bread basket. Reder comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Reder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sato wants to control but Reder postures up. Reder wants to control but Sato is keeping him busy.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Reder looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sato is avoiding damage well.
Sato has one of Reder's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Reder misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sato is looking for a sweep. Sato wants to control but Reder postures up. Reder is looking to take a break and control but Sato is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reder landing a few strikes. Sato is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Reder throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Sato parries the strikes from Reder easily there. Reder is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sato to escape.
Sato defending against the ground and pound. Sato sneaks back into half guard. Sato is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reder's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reder's back! Reder tries to roll but Sato sticks to his back.
Reder is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Sato trying to control. Sato working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Sato trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Reder doesn't escape. I really don't envy Reder right now.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Sato is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Reder. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Sato is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Reder is defending well though. Sato let's go of the attempt for now. Sato has Reder flattened out and is raining down punches. You can see the frustration on Reder's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
