Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zach Irracha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Martinez's choice of entrance music: Iced Earth - A Question of Heaven. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Richard Martinez enters the cage!

With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richard Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez lands a jab to Irracha's midsection.
Irracha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Martinez is fending him off so far but Irracha persists. Nope, Martinez circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Irracha or perhaps it was just good defense by Martinez which made him look bad.

Richard Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martinez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Martinez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Martinez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Zach Irracha has been cut.
No joy there for Martinez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Irracha as he jumps to the side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Martinez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Irracha.

Irracha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martinez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Irracha somewhat.
