Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davarain Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Fortune! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davarain Rain! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortune gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fortune is working for takedown but Rain is calmly controlling the position for now. Rain is trying to break the clinch but Fortune is controlling him. Fortune leaning against his opponent.
A frustrated look appears on Rain's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rain tries to circle away but Fortune has him pinned against the cage. Fortune tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rain just stands there and leans against the cage. Rain tries for a takedown but Fortune manages to get underhooks.
Fortune prevents Rain from breaking the clinch. Rain tries to pull guard but Fortune holds him up against the cage and eventually Rain drops back down to his feet.
Rain is trying to break the clinch but Fortune has him pressed against the cage. Rain is looking to control Fortune's arms but Fortune gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rain has his back to the cage. Rain lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Fortune breaks from the clinch.
Fortune will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fortune dodges the punch combination from Rain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fortune fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Fortune. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fortune misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fortune circles away from the clinch attempt and Fortune moves into the clinch. Fortune pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fortune tries for a takedown but Rain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fortune tries to clinch there but Rain circles away.
Rain misses with a double jab
and Fortune counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rain wants to control but Fortune is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Rain is trying to maintain the position but Fortune is very close to passing his half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rain blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fortune. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Davarain Rain hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Fortune shoots for a double leg takedown but Rain sprawls well. He's pushed Fortune's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fortune tries to avoid it but Rain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fortune to the ground. Fortune escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fortune shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rain as he avoids it easily. Fortune is breathing heavily. Rain drops Fortune with a beautiful combination! Fortune stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rain is looking for the KO!
Fortune is rocked!
It looks like Phil Fortune has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain misses with a head kick.
Oh Fortune is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rain misses with a head kick.
Rain tries a head kick but it misses.
Rain clinches up with Fortune and pushes him back against the cage. Rain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fortune's elbow. Rain fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fortune seems to have got his legs back now. Fortune decides to pull guard. Rain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fortune swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rain trying to control the position from guard on top but Fortune is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fortune has control of Rain's left arm, preventing Rain from doing any damage. Fortune working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fortune. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fortune working for submissions but it's allowed Rain to get to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fortune is looking to control Rain's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fortune avoid being mounted? Fortune is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rain is trying to control. Fortune wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davarain Rain dominated that round. The cut man is working on Phil Fortune's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rain tries to bum rush Fortune with a series of wild strikes but Fortune uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Davarain Rain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fortune displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rain throws out the jab. Rain tries to keep at a distance but Fortune has taken the fight into the clinch. Fortune prevents Rain from breaking the clinch. Rain is trying to break the clinch but Fortune is controlling him. A bit of stalling here from Fortune.
Fortune successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fortune is on top in guard.
Fortune stands and throws Rain's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fortune decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Rain as Fortune shoots in. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fortune backs up against the cage.
Rain wants to clinch up but Fortune keeps it at a distance. Rain fails in his attempt to clinch. Rain shoots in looking for a takedown but Fortune manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fortune looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rain closes the distance and clinches up with Fortune, looking for a takedown. Rain pushes Fortune against the cage but Fortune circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Phil Fortune has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davarain Rain. Fortune shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rain but Rain pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nice takedown defense from Rain. No joy for Fortune on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fortune as he jumps to the side. Fortune shoots for a takedown but Rain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rain moves in looking to clinch but Fortune pushes him off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rain thows a left - swing and a miss! Fortune fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Davarain Rain seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fortune slaps away a takedown attempt from Rain, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fortune moves into the clinch successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Fortune keeps control of Rain as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fortune has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rain is trying to keep an underhook but Fortune manages to get the takedown into half guard. Rain makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rain. Fortune tries to stand but Rain is controlling from the bottom. Fortune drops back looking for a leg! Rain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rain manages to kick Fortune off! Fortune jumps back into Rain's guard. Fortune postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain keeping full guard, as Fortune tries to pass. Fortune stops Rain from standing up. Fortune trying to control but Rain is working from the bottom. Fortune controls from within his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rain is trying to keep Fortune in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Phil Fortune will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Phil Fortune's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Rain moves out of range as Fortune throws a body kick.
Rain misses with a kick to the body and Fortune counters with a stiff right hand. Fortune misses with a takedown and Rain counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fortune sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rain somewhat. Rain darts in and clinches Fortune up against the cage. Come on Fortune - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fortune has Rain pressed against the cage, preventing Rain from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rain tries to break free but Fortune pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fortune has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rain uses from the top position. Fortune pushes Rain off and gets back to his feet.
Phil Fortune is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A slapping leg kick lands for Rain.
Fortune shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rain pinned against the cage. Rain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fortune swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rain looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rain fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fortune sprawls well initially but Rain persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Rain is looking to take a break and control but Fortune is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phil Fortune overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rain sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fortune defending well though. Fortune trying to hold on to Rain's head to control him but Rain postures up.
Rain is trying to control. Fortune wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Davarain Rain has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fortune takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Rain misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fortune buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rain steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fortune. That one must have hurt. Fortune blocks a head kick by Rain.
Rain lands a head kick. Fortune smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Rain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rain stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Fortune. That's going to take a lot out of him. A lazy body kick from Rain and Fortune makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rain really felt that one! Fortune shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rain pinned against the cage. Rain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rain throws a series of punches but Fortune moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fortune goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Rain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fortune as he avoids it easily. No joy there for Rain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fortune scores with a spinning back kick! Fortune gets a takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Fortune thows a huge punch but Rain dodges it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fortune thows a huge punch but Rain dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Davarain Rain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rain has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
