Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Piotr Mitas! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitas takes the fight into the clinch. Miller tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Miller lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Piotr Mitas has been cut. Mitas lands with a short head shot on the inside. Mitas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Miller gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Miller breaks the clinch.
Miller stuffs the takedown attempt from Mitas. Mitas gets slowly back to his feet. Mitas scores with a takedown into Miller's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Miller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Piotr Mitas. Miller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mitas's guard. Miller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Miller gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Mitas shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Mitas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jason Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Mitas. Mitas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard. Miller is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mitas is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Piotr Mitas has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Miller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mitas! Mitas manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Mitas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Piotr Mitas's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mitas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mitas moves into the clinch. Mitas jumps guard but Miller stands there with Mitas around his waist. Mitas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mitas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mitas wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Mitas is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mitas trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mitas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Piotr Mitas. Miller moves into the clinch successfully.
Miller is pressed up against the cage. Mitas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Miller down to the mat. Miller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jason Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Mitas. Mitas shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense. Mitas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily. Mitas rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage. Mitas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Miller uses from the top position. Mitas looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller gets to his feet. Mitas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mitas gets caught flat footed, as Miller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mitas controlling Miller's posture. Mitas keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.

Miller tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Miller is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mitas's shoulder. That is not cool. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller trying to control the action but Mitas is working from the bottom. Mitas is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Miller's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Miller will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Piotr Mitas's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Miller wants to stand but Mitas is controlling his posture from full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mitas can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller wants to control from the top but Mitas keeps moving. Mitas working for a triangle but Miller defends it easily.

Mitas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mitas pulls Miller in to control the position. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Piotr Mitas wasn't active enough on the ground. Mitas shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense. Mitas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miller swivels and escapes. Miller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mitas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mitas takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Miller misses with a few strikes there.
Mitas wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mitas was covering up waiting for the punch and Miller finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mitas controlling the position. Mitas has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Miller has passed into side control.
Mitas can't do much from the bottom here. Miller decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miller's guard. Mitas has gone for a leg lock! Miller slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mitas's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mitas wants to improve his position but instead Miller has moved into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Miller. I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
