Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dugan Hicks!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddel throws a head kick but Hicks moves out of range.
Hicks looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Liddel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hicks on the side of the head.
It looks like Dugan Hicks has been cut.
Liddel shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hicks wants to clinch up but Liddel keeps it at a distance.
Liddel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hicks checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hicks tries to clinch but Liddel moves out of range.
Nice combo by Liddel! Oh, that's hurt him - Hicks falls to the canvas and Liddel follows him into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hicks trying to remain calm as Liddel controls from the top position.
Liddel decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hicks blocks a head kick by Liddel.
Liddel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Liddel is in close to Hicks's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hicks is rocked!
Liddel wants to stand but Hicks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hicks is still in real trouble! Can Liddel finish him?
Liddel engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddel stands and steps away. Hicks gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hicks seems to have recovered his senses.
Hicks avoids the head kick by Liddel.
Liddel lands a slapping body shot.
Nice combo by Liddel! Oh, that's hurt him - Hicks falls to the canvas and Liddel follows him into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liddel in side control lands a decent elbow.
A lull in the action here as Liddel stalls from top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Liddel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hicks to his feet.
Liddel with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hicks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hicks wants it to stay on the feet.
Hicks moves forwards but Liddel connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Liddel throws an overhand right that has Hicks reeling! Liddel follows up with more punches and Hicks is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chuck Liddel!
