The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mael tries to bum rush Cartman with a series of wild strikes but Cartman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mael throws a series of punches but Cartman moves out of range.
An inside leg kick from Cartman misses.
Mael swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mael walks into a straight right hand from Cartman.
Mael throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cartman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mael rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cartman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cartman throws a jab when Mael was well out of range.
A clash of legs there as Mael blocks the low kick.
Mael looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cartman throws a leg kick that misses.
Mael misses with a combination
and Cartman counters with a crisp one two that drops Mael! Cartman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mael to his feet! Mael is in big trouble!
Mael is rocked!
Cartman looks to land a combination but Mael avoids it well.
Oh Mael is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cartman moves in looking to clinch but Mael pushes him off.
Mael seems to have got his legs back now.
Cartman misses with an uppercut. Mael saw that one coming.
Cartman is looking to chop away at Mael's legs.
Mael throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mael swats away the attempt to clinch by Cartman.
Mael throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mael misses with a double jab
and Cartman counters with a nice body shot.
Mael is breathing heavily.
Cartman tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cartman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cartman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mael sprawling to the canvas! Mael rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cartman finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cartman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cartman connects with a solid leg kick.
Cartman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cartman drops Mael with a big left hand! Mael is injured, injured bad! Cartman jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
