Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Markson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dalern Hardt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Markson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markson lands a head kick. Hardt smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A head kick misses from Markson.
Markson throws a big shot that misses.
Hardt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Markson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hardt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Markson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hardt stands up and beckons Markson to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Markson enables Hardt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Markson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hardt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hardt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardt wants to pass the guard but Markson is keeping the position.
Hardt drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hardt as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Markson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hardt! Nice submission victory there!
