The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hank Williams Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chevanton on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Chevanton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chevanton lands with a shot to the body.
Chevanton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Williams Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chevanton throws a sloppy head kick and Williams Jr moves out of range easily.
Chevanton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chevanton shoots and misses
and Williams Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Chevanton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Williams Jr counter with a right hand.

Chevanton is rocked!
Hank Williams Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ernesto Chevanton.
Williams Jr circles away from the clinch attempt
and Williams Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chevanton is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams Jr finish him?
Chevanton throws a series of punches but Williams Jr moves out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams Jr goes for a small jab and connects. Now Williams Jr goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Chevanton stumbles back but Williams Jr runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Chevanton to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Chevanton will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

In his post fight interview, Hank Williams Jr started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
