Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altropos Takota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Altropos Takota has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Sakuraba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Altropos Takota!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba avoids the body shot from Takota.

Sakuraba closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sakuraba lands in his opponent's guard.
Sakuraba tries to free his leg and advance position but Takota is retaining full guard.
Sakuraba trying to control the position from guard on top but Takota is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sakuraba is looking to work some ground and pound but Takota has wrist control.
Sakuraba stands and throws Takota's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Takota can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sakuraba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Takota has escaped the position, nice work there.
Takota is pushing Sakuraba's head away, looking to escape. Sakuraba manages to hold on to the position though.
Takota really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sakuraba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sakuraba advances to full mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sakuraba working for a submission but Takota is keeping him at bay.

Sakuraba is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Takota can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Takota has left one of his arms exposed and Sakuraba doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Takota screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
