Mills has chosen LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills throws a series of strikes that have Gotty backpedaling.
Mills digs a good body shot into Gotty's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mills works Gotty's body with a nice hook.
Gotty takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Giliath Gotty has been cut.
Mills lands with a shot to the body.
Gotty is breathing heavily.
Mills lands a big right hand that sends Gotty crashing to the mat! Mills stays standing though and waves Gotty back to his feet!
Gotty is rocked!
and Mills counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Gotty! He's just covering up as Mills starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carl Mills! Carl Mills retains his heavyweight title!
Carl Mills very nearly forgot to thank Raw Edge Gear (R.E.G) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
