Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Shakesphere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze has chosen John Blaze - Fat Joe Ft. Nas, Big Pun, Raekwon as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Shakesphere!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Blaze!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze takes one to the side of the head.
Blaze rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shakesphere counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shakesphere lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Shakesphere misses the jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Shakesphere lands a jab to Blaze's midsection.
Shakesphere swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Blaze counters with a left to the body.
Shakesphere throws a lazy right hand but Blaze sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blaze cracks a nice hook into Shakesphere's ribs.
Blaze throws a sloppy head kick and Shakesphere moves out of range easily.
Blaze showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shakesphere.
Shakesphere swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Shakesphere jabs Blaze right on the nose. Blaze blinks but takes it well.

Shakesphere catches Blaze with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Shakesphere moves out of range of the leg kick from Blaze.
Blaze swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blaze digs a good body shot into Shakesphere's ribs.

Shakesphere misses with a double jab.
Blaze throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shakesphere lands with a good body shot.
Shakesphere feints a jab promting Blaze to slip. Shakesphere then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blaze slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Blaze scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Shakesphere looks to score with a jab to the body but Blaze is just out of range.
Shakesphere connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Blaze's hands.
Blaze takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Shakesphere lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Blaze steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shakesphere.
Shakesphere's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blaze connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shakesphere scrambles back to his feet.


It looks like William Shakesphere has been cut.
Blaze just misses with a punch to the body.
Blaze rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shakesphere makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Shakesphere clobbers Blaze with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Shakesphere lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Shakesphere moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
