Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quintonn Jacksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacksson has chosen Rampage entrance song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quintonn Jacksson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacksson tries for a takedown but Boyer circles away easily
and Boyer counters with a leg kick.
Boyer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jacksson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boyer clinches up against the cage.
Jacksson goes for a takedown attempt but Boyer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Boyer misses with a combination
and Jacksson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Boyer wants to get back to his feet.
Boyer is defending against the submission attempts here by Jacksson.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jacksson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boyer defends it well.
Jacksson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jacksson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boyer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jacksson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacksson misses with a head shot. Boyer uses the momentum to regain guard.
Jacksson throwing strikes from guard but Boyer blocks nicely.

Jacksson is looking to work some ground and pound but Boyer has wrist control.
Boyer is looking to stand up but Jacksson isn't so interested in that idea.
Boyer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jacksson.
Jacksson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jacksson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Boyer wants to stand but Jacksson is controlling the position.
Jacksson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Boyer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jacksson clinches up against the cage.
Boyer manages to break the clinch.
Jacksson shoots in but Boyer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Billy Boyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quintonn Jacksson.
Jacksson looks gassed!
A nice inside leg kick there by Boyer. That's going to slow Jacksson down.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boyer closes the distance and pushes Jacksson back into the cage.
Jacksson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jacksson looking for a takedown.
Boyer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boyer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jab, jab by Boyer - just one landing.
It looks like Quintonn Jacksson has been cut.
Jacksson takes one on the button.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jacksson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Boyer - the referee stops the clock and Jacksson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Boyer. Jacksson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Boyer throws an overhand right that drops Jacksson like a sack of potatoes! Boyer dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Boyer!
