Malelei has chosen Broken, beat & scarred - Metallica as his entrance music. Abekula Malelei will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Abekula Malelei!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malelei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Malelei fails with a takedown attempt.
Bear closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Malelei quickly recovers to half guard.
Bear is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Malelei is just riding it out for now. Bear eventually gives up the hold.
Bear works his way into full mount!
Malelei is in a horrible position here. Bear smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bear jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Malelei is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Malelei and Bear has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Malelei tries to bum rush Bear with a series of wild strikes but Bear uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bear fails with a takedown attempt.
Malelei tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bear swivels and escapes.
Malelei stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Malelei wants it to stay on the feet.
Malelei throws a series of strikes that have Bear backpedaling.
Bear displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Malelei.
Max Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abekula Malelei.
A left and a right from Bear both land. Nice combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bear shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bear was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bear scoring with strikes but Malelei is staying in there.
Malelei is rocked!
Bear postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Malelei in real trouble here! The ref calls for Malelei to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Bear!
Max Bear seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
