Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Kerensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasko Nusciva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nusciva's choice of entrance music: Fart song. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Kerensky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pasko Nusciva! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerensky throws a right and a left that both miss. Kerensky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nusciva manages to avoid it. Kerensky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nusciva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kerensky scores with a jab to the body. Nusciva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kerensky was covering up waiting for the punch and Nusciva finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nusciva throwing strikes from guard but Kerensky blocks nicely. Nusciva won't allow Kerensky to get back to his feet. Nusciva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kerensky scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nusciva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kerensky pinned against the cage. Kerensky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kerensky paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kerensky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nusciva wants to clinch. Kerensky connects with a single shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerensky misses with a looping left. Kerensky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nusciva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kerensky scores with a jab to the jaw. Kerensky misses with a wild body shot. Kerensky catches Nusciva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A combination from Kerensky does no damage. Alexander Kerensky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nusciva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kerensky as he avoids it easily. Nusciva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kerensky listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Kerensky closes the distance and lands a one-two. Nusciva on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kerensky is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Kerensky throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nusciva moves out of range as Kerensky strikes. Nusciva wants to clinch and Kerensky counters with a two punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Kerensky throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kerensky scores with the left hand. Nusciva knows he should have avoided that one. Kerensky misses the jab. Kerensky throws a lazy right hand but Nusciva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kerensky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nusciva is looking to clinch but Kerensky is avoiding it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nusciva wants to clinch. Kerensky with a nice cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Kerensky dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kerensky gets caught flat footed, as Nusciva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nusciva looking to pass the guard. Nusciva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nusciva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nusciva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kerensky dives on top into guard. Kerensky will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kerensky is looking to stand up but Nusciva won't let him. Nusciva looking for a guillotine here but Kerensky defends easily.
Kerensky sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nusciva's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerensky sitting and controlling from the half guard. Nusciva works his way to full guard. Good work. Nusciva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kerensky wanted to stand there but Nusciva had control of the position. Kerensky engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kerensky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nusciva on the ground. Nusciva has a closed guard, preventing Kerensky from standing up. Nusciva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nusciva keeping moving, preventing Kerensky from controlling successfully. Nusciva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Nusciva looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kerensky wants to get up but he can't break Nusciva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Nusciva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kerensky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kerensky stands up from guard. Let's bang! Nusciva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kerensky as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerensky's corner calls for a 1-2. Kerensky obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kerensky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kerensky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nusciva shoots in for a takedown but Kerensky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kerensky bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nusciva takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A left and a right from Kerensky both land. Nice combination. Kerensky bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nusciva's head backwards. Kerensky clobbers Nusciva with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Alexander Kerensky is winning the standup battle so far. Kerensky connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nusciva momentarily.
Nusciva misses with a right hand and Kerensky counters with a three punch combo that has Nusciva backing up. Nusciva nods at Kerensky to acknowledge the strikes. Pasko Nusciva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alexander Kerensky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kerensky thuds a left hand into Nusciva's body. Kerensky lands a two punch combo.
Kerensky cracks Nusciva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Nusciva on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That sent Nusciva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kerensky throws a right and a left that Nusciva avoids nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nusciva moves forwards but Kerensky connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kerensky wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nusciva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kerensky.

And that's the end of the fight! Alexander Kerensky showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kerensky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Alexander Kerensky! A very excited looking Alexander Kerensky rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
