Ilyich comes to the cage accompanied by USSR / Soviet National Anthem. Gottlob has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Androcles Gottlob is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ilyich lands a glancing blow to the side of Gottlob 's head.
Gottlob rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ilyich counters with a three punch combo that has Gottlob backing up. Gottlob nods at Ilyich to acknowledge the strikes.
Androcles Gottlob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gottlob looks gassed!
Gottlob stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ilyich.

Ilyich lands a big uppercut and Gottlob crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gottlob looks OK. Ilyich waves Gottlob back to his feet!
Ilyich lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Gottlob crumples to the floor! Ilyich milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
