Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franjo Tahi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jazz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tahi's waist but Tahi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jazz off to one side.
Tahi lands a two punch combo.

Jazz lands a big head kick that sends Tahi tumbling to the mat! Jazz takes a step backwards and waves Tahi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Franjo Tahi has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jazz closes the distance and clinches.

Jazz decides to pull guard.
Tahi seems to have recovered his senses.

Poor strikes thrown by Jazz there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Jazz rushes Tahi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jazz shoots for a double leg takedown but Tahi sprawls well. He's pushed Jazz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jazz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tahi but Tahi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tahi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Jazz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tahi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tahi stalks Jazz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jazz's face. Jazz staggers backwards, shaken.

Tahi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jazz shoots for a takedown but Tahi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jazz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tahi. That did some damage!

Tahi wants to stand but Jazz is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jazz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jazz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jazz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tahi because Jazz loaded up on that one.

Jazz has control of Tahi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tahi regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tahi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jazz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tahi has managed to get both his arms back between Jazz's legs - danger averted.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jazz is on top in guard.

Jazz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tahi is looking to stand up but Jazz isn't so interested in that idea.

Jazz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jazz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tahi's guard.
Jazz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tahi can do to turn this around?

Tahi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jazz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jazz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tahi is just riding it out for now. Jazz eventually gives up the hold.
