The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko misses with a series of wild punches.
Son takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Son pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Son tries to clinch but Emelianenko moves away
and Emelianenko counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Son closes the distance and clinches up with Emelianenko, looking for a takedown. Son pushes Emelianenko against the cage but Emelianenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Son throws a nice looking combination but Emelianenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
