Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Torquemada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torquemada might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to High On Fire - Rumors of War. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage misses with an uppercut.
Rampage walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Torquemada connects with the punch.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
A lull in the action here as Rampage stalls from top position.

Torquemada manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rampage's best efforts.
Rampage is taking a breather. Torquemada says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rampage is trying to control the action in half guard but Torquemada is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rampage is looking for submissions but instead, Torquemada has regained full guard.

Torquemada is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Torquemada has his foot on Rampage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rampage works his way back into a safe position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Torquemada, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Xavier Torquemada rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
