Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lee Struthers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Alverez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alverez has chosen ALL DAY as his entrance music. Mike Alverez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alverez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Struthers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alverez but Alverez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alverez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Alverez swings for the body but Struthers moves out of range.
Struthers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alverez tries to avoid it but Struthers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alverez to the ground. Alverez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A jab from Alverez misses.
Struthers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alverez's head backwards.
Struthers is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Alverez.
Struthers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alverez was well out of range. Poor timing from Struthers.
Alverez tries to bum rush Struthers with a series of wild strikes but Struthers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Struthers throws a series of punches but Alverez moves out of range.
Alverez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Alverez misses with a hook. Struthers ducked under it nicely.
Alverez looks to score with a jab to the body but Struthers is just out of range.
Struthers swings for the body but Alverez moves out of range.
Lee Struthers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Struthers tries a low kick but Alverez avoids it.
