Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Allen Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allen Iverson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Burza! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iverson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Burza at a distance.
Iverson misses the jab. Burza tries to clinch up but Iverson circles away and keeps his distance. Iverson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Iverson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Roman Burza has been cut. Burza is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Iverson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Burza takes an elbow to the forehead. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Iverson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Burza's brow. Burza drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Iverson utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Burza looks gassed! Burza wants to break the clinch but can't.
This has been an exciting period of action! Iverson trying to land knees to the body.
Iverson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Burza fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Allen Iverson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Burza. With the fighters up against the ropes, Iverson throws an elbow but misses. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Iverson obliges. Iverson lands an elbow that stopped Burza in his tracks for a moment. Iverson crunches a lovely knee into Burza's ribcage.

Iverson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Iverson lands an elbow just above Burza 's eye. Burza takes a knee to the side of the body. Iverson connects with a knee to the head.
Iverson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Iverson is looking to control Burza's arms but Burza gets an underhook and turns him. Now Iverson has his back to the ropes. Burza takes an elbow to the forehead. Iverson prevents the takedown attempt.

Burza has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Iverson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Iverson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Iverson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burza takes an elbow to the temple. Nice elbow from Iverson. Burza takes a knee to the side of the body. Burza takes an elbow to the temple. Iverson lands an elbow inside. Knees to the body from Iverson.

That has opened up Roman Burza's cut even more. Nice elbow from Iverson. Iverson is looking to control Burza's arms but Burza gets an underhook and turns him. Now Iverson has his back to the ropes. Burza takes an elbow to the temple.
Burza is rocked! Iverson putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Burza in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Burza is still on wobbly legs! Can Iverson finish him? Burza takes an elbow to the forehead. A bit of stalling here from Iverson.

Iverson has Burza pressed against the ropes. He pushes Burza back and as he springs towards him off the ropes, Iverson throws a beautiful elbow that sends Burza crashing to the floor! Iverson piles on the pressure with more strikes! Burza is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Allen Iverson! Allen Iverson very nearly forgot to thank Wolfpack Blood Labs amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
