Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Kolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Twat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Kolo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Twat's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marco Kolo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Twat! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolo throws a head kick but Twat moves out of range.
Twat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Twat slips under a jab from Kolo. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kolo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Twat has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Twat and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Twat takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Twat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Twat shoots in for a takedown but Kolo shows good takedown defense. Marco Kolo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Twat. Kolo moves into the clinch successfully.
Kolo looks to throw an elbow but misses. Twat blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kolo is pushing Twat up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Kolo misses with a short punch on the inside. Twat being controlled against the cage. Kolo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Twat backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kolo throws a sloppy head kick and Twat counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kolo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kolo wants to control but Twat is keeping busy.
Twat is just content to waste time from the top position. Kolo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Twat manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Twat stalling in the clinch but Kolo improves position. Kolo scores with an uppercut up the middle. Twat taking a breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Twat stalling in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by John Twat. Twat gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kolo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Twat shoots in looking for a takedown. Kolo tries to sprawl out of it but Twat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kolo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Twat moves forwards but Kolo connects with a nice, crisp jab. Twat doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kolo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kolo. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kolo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kolo lands a couple of digs. Twat is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Twat has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kolo has passed into side control.
Twat looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolo landing strikes. Kolo lands a nice forearm strike. Kolo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kolo lands an elbow. Kolo working the ground and pound. Kolo cracks Twat with a big elbow. Twat is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Twat takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kolo landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Kolo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Twat fails with a takedown attempt. Kolo scores a takedown into full mount! Kolo breaks from Twat's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Twat is rocked! Twat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kolo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kolo connects with a bit shot that sees Twat covering up! More strikes from Kolo and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kolo is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Kolo!
