Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogelio Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibson comes into the arena with Futuristic Sex Robotz - If I Ruled The World blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rodriguez on the side of the head.
Gibson tries to clinch there but Rodriguez circles away.
Gibson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rodriguez was well out of range. Poor timing from Gibson.
Gibson takes a swing at Rodriguez's ribcage but misses.
Rodriguez avoids the body shot from Gibson.
Gibson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gibson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rodriguez at a distance.
Gibson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodriguez has his takedown stuffed
and Gibson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gibson connects with a crisp jab.
Rodriguez is rocked!
Rodriguez walks straight into a right hand from Gibson - that's dropped him! Gibson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rodriguez from any more punishment! Rodriguez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Gibson!
