The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blessed misses with a left hand
so Doyle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Doyle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Blessed keeping moving, preventing Doyle from controlling successfully.
Doyle drops back looking for a leg! Blessed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blessed manages to kick Doyle off! Doyle jumps back into Blessed's guard.
Doyle wants to control from the top but Blessed keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doyle wants to pass the guard but Blessed is keeping the position.
Blessed is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Doyle has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Blessed taps out instantly and this one is all over!
