The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbins fails with the takedown.

Robbins shoots in and gets a takedown into Kox's guard.
Robbins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Robbins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Robbins controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kox lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Robbins!

Kox is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Robbins to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Robbins shrugs it off.

Robbins has hold of Kox's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.

Robbins looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kox throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Robbins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kox shoots in for a takedown but Robbins shows good takedown defense.
Kox tries for a takedown but Robbins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kox keeps the fight on the outside.
Kox shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Kox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robbins throws a nice looking combination but Kox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kox does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Robbins scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Robbins is controlling the pace.

Well, if Robbins is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kox is controlling Robbins's trapped leg to prevent Robbins from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robbins is keen to just control but Kox is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Old John Robbins.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Old John Robbins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Robbins swats away the attempt to clinch by Kox.
Kox misses with a takedown attempt

and Robbins counters with a shoot takedown. Kox fights it but they end up in guard.
Robbins won't allow Kox to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kox is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robbins can do anything to dispel that myth.

Robbins is trying to control the position but Kox postures up.
Old John Robbins has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kox manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Robbins on his heels. He'll look to pass Robbins's guard now, I'm sure.

Robbins shoots in but Kox avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kox shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kox was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kox has hold of Robbins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robbins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Robbins is squirming around, avoiding Kox's attempts to control the action.
Robbins is looking to get to half guard.

Kox looking for a guillotine from mount but Robbins is having none of it.
Robbins tries to hold on but Kox pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kox postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Robbins looks a forlorn figure.
Robbins wants to control but Kox is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jimmy Kox showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kox has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
