Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biff Hemlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Ramsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hemlock comes into the arena with Champagneros blaring out of the sound system. Ramsay comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Protect Ya Neck by Wu Tang Clan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Biff Hemlock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Badr Ramsay!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemlock tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ramsay paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hemlock misses with a series of wild punches.

Hemlock tries to keep at a distance but Ramsay has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hemlock avoids a wild elbow strike from Ramsay.
Hemlock managing to block the knees to the body from Ramsay.

Ramsay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ramsay throws a head kick that misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hemlock lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hemlock is trying to maintain a safe position but Ramsay gets an underhook and turns Hemlock into the cage.

Ramsay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd cheers as Hemlock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ramsay doesn't seem phased though.

Ramsay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hemlock tries to avoid it but Ramsay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hemlock to the ground. Hemlock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Biff Hemlock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Badr Ramsay.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hemlock is defended easily by Ramsay.
Biff Hemlock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramsay tries to clinch up.

Ramsay manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hemlock on his heels. He'll look to pass Hemlock's guard now, I'm sure.

Ramsay bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ramsay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ramsay looks up at the clock and then as Hemlock takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ramsay smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramsay tries to stand and escape but Hemlock is controlling the position.

Ramsay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hemlock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ramsay's guard.

Ramsay is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hemlock takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Badr Ramsay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hemlock tries to land a knee to the head but Ramsay blocks with his arms.
Ramsay lands a good knee to the midsection. Hemlock won't want to take too many of those.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramsay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Biff Hemlock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ramsay decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ramsay throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hemlock darts in trying to clinch

and Ramsay counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hemlock's guard now.

Hemlock throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ramsay lands a couple of decent looking shots.

And that's the end of the fight!
Badr Ramsay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ramsay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
