Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Travis Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Winkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Jaeger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Perry Winkle! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaeger fails to land the takedown. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jaeger is defended easily by Winkle. Jaeger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Winkle leaves Jaeger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Jaeger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jaeger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Winkle throws a nice looking combination but Jaeger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jaeger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Winkle throws out a leg kick but Jaeger moves out of range and Winkle only half commits. Winkle throws a right and a left that Jaeger avoids nicely. Jaeger throws a sloppy head kick and Winkle counters with a straight right hand. Jaeger lands a high kick!
Jaeger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jaeger fails with a takedown attempt.

Winkle looks to land a combination but Jaeger avoids it well. Jaeger throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Winkle.
It looks like Perry Winkle has been cut. Winkle swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jaeger counters with a shoot takedown. Winkle fights it but they end up in guard. Winkle keeping moving, preventing Jaeger from controlling successfully. Winkle controlling Jaeger's posture. Winkle looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Winkle has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jaeger is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Winkle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jaeger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jaeger misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

But no, Winkle has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jaeger but great work by Winkle. Winkle tries to advance to mount but Jaeger instead regains half guard. Jaeger is trying to maintain the position but Winkle is very close to passing his half guard. Jaeger is looking to improve his position.
Winkle tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Winkle has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Jaeger works to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jaeger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Winkleis looking to pass into half guard but Jaeger pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jaeger is in guard. Jaeger keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Winkle's head. Jaeger works over Winkle with some ground and pound from guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jaeger stopping the sweep attempt from Winkle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jaeger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Winkle looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Winkle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jaeger misses the shot to the body. Perry Winkle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jaeger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jaeger goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jaeger closes the distance and clinches up with Winkle, looking for a takedown. Jaeger pushes Winkle against the cage but Winkle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jaeger is looking to clinch but Winkle is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Winkle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jaeger has Winkle pulled in close to control his posture. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jaeger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Winkle is one step ahead there. Jaeger pulls Winkle in close to his closed guard and prevents Winkle from doing any damage or advancing position.
We're going to have a standup here because Travis Jaeger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Winkle lands a two punch combo.

Jaeger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Winkle can pounce on him.
Jaeger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Winkle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jaeger somewhat. Winkle finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Jaeger takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Winkle fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jaeger shoots for a double leg takedown but Winkle sprawls well. He's pushed Jaeger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Winkle connects with an inside leg kick. Jaeger on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Jaeger takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Winkle sizes up Jaeger with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jaeger ducks under a wild hook from Winkle. Jaeger tries to clinch but Winkle moves out of range. Winkle misses with a kick to the body.
Jaeger throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Winkle's head. Winkle throws a solid leg kick but Jaeger takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Winkle. Jaeger tries a head kick but it misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A low kick from Jaeger is predictable there and Winkle counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jaeger lands a glancing blow to the side of Winkle's head. Jaeger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Winkle scores with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Winkle is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jaeger rather than just go for the knockout. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jaeger.

Perry Winkle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nice defenses there by Jaeger. Winkle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jaeger dives in and grabs Winkle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Winkle pushes down on Jaeger's head and hops out. Jaeger fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winkle thows a body kick. Jaeger tries to catch it but that hurt him. Winkle with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nice uppercut lands for Winkle. That snapped Jaeger's head back.

Jaeger closes the distance and clinches up with Winkle, looking for a takedown. Jaeger pushes Winkle against the cage but Winkle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Winkle is looking to land body kicks. Jaeger walks into a jab. Winkle scores with the left hand. Jaeger knows he should have avoided that one.
Jaeger is rocked! A solid leg kick lands there for Winkle.
Oh Jaeger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Winkle and Jaeger are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Winkle throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Jaeger into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Winkle knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
