Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Buchet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buchet dives in and grabs Doe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doe pushes down on Buchet's head and hops out. Buchet takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Tre Buchet has been cut. Buchet tries for a takedown but Doe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice uppercut lands for Doe. That snapped Buchet's head back.
Buchet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doe's waist but Doe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buchet off to one side. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Buchet. A jab from Doe finds it's way through Buchet's defenses. Doe misses with the combination.
Doe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice cross by Doe. Doe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buchet closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Doe quickly recovers to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Doe kicks off Buchet and gets to his feet. Buchet throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Doe was covering up waiting for the punch and Buchet finishes the takedown easily into guard. Buchet thows a big elbow that misses. Buchet must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Doe is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Doe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Doe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Buchet trying to control the position from guard on top but Doe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doe controls Buchet momentarily but Buchet frees himself.
We're going to have a standup here because John Doe wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Doe lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Doe digs a good hook to Buchet's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Doe lands a nice shot to the body.
Buchet takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe misses with a few strikes there.
Doe tries to keep at a distance but Buchet has taken the fight into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Doe's face as he tries to break the clinch. Doe trying to stall but Buchet improves his position.
Buchet tightens his grip and picks Doe up, before dumping him to the ground. Doe manages to land in guard. Buchet with a flurry of punches that miss. Doe keeping moving, preventing Buchet from controlling successfully. Buchet postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buchet in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Buchet trying to control the position from guard on top but Doe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Buchet defends well. Doe keeping moving, preventing Buchet from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Doe keeping full guard, as Buchet tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tre Buchet's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A jab lands there for Doe. John Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Buchet shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doe defends it nicely. Doe lands a nice hook to Buchet's body. Buchet takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A lazy left from Doe finds it's target. Buchet drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Buchet is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Doe moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Doe!
