Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maple Thug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maple Thug! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Logan Anderson! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Anderson. Thug gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Thug's face as he tries to break the clinch. Anderson breaks from the clinch.
Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Thug fails with a takedown attempt. Anderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Thug. Thug closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Anderson's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Thug trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Thug trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thug. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thug accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thug drops back looking for a leg! Anderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anderson manages to kick Thug off! Thug jumps back into Anderson's guard. Thug trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Anderson has a closed guard, preventing Thug from standing up. Thug postures up in Anderson's guard and throws a big left but Anderson blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson keeping moving, preventing Thug from controlling successfully.
We're going to have a standup here because Maple Thug wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Anderson darts in and clinches Thug up against the cage. Anderson successfully pulls guard.
Thug wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Thug thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thug trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thug drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thug jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Thug is controlling him. Thug with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thug drops back looking for a leg! Anderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anderson manages to kick Thug off! Thug jumps back into Anderson's guard. Anderson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thug trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maple Thug dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Thug displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anderson. Maple Thug is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderson gets a clinch. Thug pulls guard effortlessly. Thug is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Anderson rolls with it to try and escape but Thug cranks on the arm and Anderson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
