Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Dakota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock comes into the arena with Big Pimpin blaring out of the sound system. Trey Dakota has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dakota throws out the jab. Rock throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dakota. Rock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dakota throws a jab but it's blocked by Rock. Dakota slips a jab and a cross from Rock.
A combination from Rock does no damage. Rock falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dakota counters with a nice uppercut. Dakota takes a swing at Rock's ribcage but misses. Andrew Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rock throws a shot from downtown. Dakota moves away and avoids it. Dakota avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Dakota tries to move into range but Rock moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Rock swinging wildly here.

Rock stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dakota is looking for the KO!

Dakota stays standing though and waves Rock back to his feet! Rock throws a jab but it's blocked by Dakota. Dakota throws out a loose jab but Rock uses good head movement to avoid it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rock connects with a leg kick. Dakota looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A telegraphed right hand from Rock misses the target. Rock closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rock throws a big shot that misses. Rock seems to have got his legs back now. Rock throws a head kick that misses. Rock thumps Dakota with a low kick. Rock throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dakota. Rock tries to bum rush Dakota with a series of wild strikes but Dakota uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dakota throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dakota misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rock.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dakota's corner calls for a 1-2. Dakota obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Rock. Dakota does a little dance to reset his feet. Rock keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rock turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rock throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dakota misses with an uppercut. Dakota keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A jab from Dakota misses. Rock throws a low kick but Dakota moves out of range easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice body punch from Dakota. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A shot to the liver by Dakota. Beautiful body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rock explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rock scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Rock counters with a straight right hand. Rock thows a left - swing and a miss! Dakota throws a looping overhand right but Rock ducks down to avoid it. Rock has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dakota avoids a punch combination nicely.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rock swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Dakota counter with a right hand. Dakota throws a shot from downtown. Rock moves away and avoids it. Rock works over Dakota's head and body with a nice combination. Rock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dakota takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dakota jabs at Rock's body. Rock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dakota keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rock. Nice shot by Dakota. Dakota throws a series of punches but Rock moves out of range. Dakota connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Rock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dakota at a distance.

A cross from Dakota lands. Dakota lands with a big left! Rock is wobbled badly! Dakota comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Rock to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
