Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dominick Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heero Yuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cruz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DJ Khaled - All I do is win. Yuy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Coma Black - Marilyn Manson. The key to victory for Dominick Cruz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Yuy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Yuy winds up and cracks Cruz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Heero Yuy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cruz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Cruz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yuy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A close round but Heero Yuy will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cruz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yuy swivels and escapes.
Yuy throws a jab but it's blocked by Cruz.
Yuy looks to land a left hand but Cruz moved out of range nicely.
Cruz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yuy circles away.
Yuy lands a two punch combo.
Cruz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Yuy counters with a series of strikes. Cruz will be more careful next time no doubt.

Yuy is looking to take a break and control but Cruz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Yuy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cruz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
