Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romero Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Party (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Party is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Final Countdown- Europe. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a nice inside leg kick.
Party gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gracie.
Party shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense.
Party fails in his attempt to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gracie stuffs the takedown.
Gracie throws the kick towards the body but Party avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gracie.
Party shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well.

Party is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gracie wants to take a breather but Party is having none of it.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are battling for position here. Party manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Party rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Party is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
